Premier League clubs have seen a renewed interest in Scotland’s youngsters in recent years as they aim to attract top talent south of the border.
That means extra competition for powerhouse Celtic, who are keen to secure Scottish football’s top prospects.
The Boyes are “very interested” in Airdrie teenage midfielder brothers Cole and Dylan Williams.
They performed well in the youth teams against Celtic and the Bois are keen to acquire them.
However, Celtic face a complication as Premier League sides Southampton and West Ham United are both interested.
The Saints and Hammers have sent scouts to Scotland twice in recent weeks and the news that they now “appear to be leading the way” comes as a blow to Celtic.
The midfield youngsters could leave Airdrie if they feel they are getting the right offer, as they are only on short-term deals with the Scottish side.
